• 13 plants in Puglia and 3 in Marche for a total installed capacity of 23.5MW
• The plants will produce approximately 32 million kWh per year of clean energy
• Power generated from the new plants is sufficient to satisfy the needs of over 12,000 Italian families
• The Group has now over 68MW of capacity installed in Italy and Spain

 

Over the last 2 weeks, the international Group 9REN has connected to the grid 16 new photovoltaic plants. There will be 13 new plants in Puglia, for a total installed capacity of 20.5MW, located mainly in the Taranto province (19.5MW) and 1MW located in the province of Bari. Other 3 plants were connected in Marche for a total capacity of 3MW.

Total generation forecasted from the 16 plants is of circa 32 million kWh per year, equal to the needs of over 12,000 families and with an environmental contribution equal to 14,000 tons of CO2 avoided every year or equivalent to 6,000 tonnes of oil.

Including the new plants 9REN has currently 32 plants in operation in Italy and 6 Spain, for a total of 38 plants with a combined installed capacity of 68.6MW and with annual production forecasted of circa 91 million kWh of clean energy.

9REN is a primary operator offering turnkey power plants and O&M services and one of the primary investor in the sector having developed over 160MW of photovoltaic plants in Italy and in Spain of which 92MW for third parties and 68.6MW owned by the Group

9REN is focused on the development, construction, operation, upgrading and ownership of photovoltaic power plants and providing turn-key projects for third parties both for small and large scale installations.

At the present, the company is involved in constructing approximately 24 MW of plants, located mainly in Italy, which will be added to the 68.6 MW currently in operation.

Over the last 3 years the competences and excellence of 9REN have been confirmed by over Eur 230 millions of financing obtained from different banks and by the large number of clients whom it manages approximately 570 plants.

Recently landed in Israel where the company is executing rooftop for a total of 500kW installed capacity and in UK where is developing a portfolio summing 100 new small and medium size PV power plants, 9REN is looking for partnerships and cooperation also in other countries both as EPC Contractor as well as investor.
